Volunteering at Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve

The Trumpington Meadows rangers are looking to set up a group of volunteers who can help us with practical work on the site. This might include giving just a few hours every month on a wide variety of tasks such as scrub clearance, invasive plant control and grass cutting and clearing. We provide full training, all tools and equipment, and refreshments! It’s a great way to enjoy the reserve and help manage it for the future.

We’re running a taster session on Thursday 22nd September, from 1pm to 3pm. If you are interested please come along and see what is involved – email me at rebecca.green@wildlifebcn.org or give me a call on 07734 478471 to book. We will be meeting at the porta cabin off Hauxton Road (some parking available). Alternatively, if you know the site, you can meet us by the coprolite ponds in the south.
