A huge thanks to everyone who came along to volunteer at Trumpington Meadows in 2017.
Volunteers are an integral part of our work and your support makes a real, lasting difference to the wildlife and habitats here. Above is an e-christmas card on behalf of everyone at The Wildlife Trust BCN (it features a rather colourful bird you may see in your gardens over the festive period).
The next volunteering session will be on Wednesday 17th January meeting at 10am.
There is lots to get involved with in 2018 including a nest box building and monitoring project, scrub work along the Coprolite pits, breeding bird and dragonfly surveys and of course, taking willow weaving to the Next Level ;). In addition to mid-week, we are considering expanding volunteer sessions to one Saturday a month and are interested to know if this interests anyone? I’d be grateful to hear from anyone who might be interested so drop me a line if so.
