Spring Events at Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve

The days are getting longer, the birds are singing, and it won’t be long before we start to see frogspawn in the ponds and cowslips in the meadows. The rangers have organised a programme of events to help you enjoy the best of this spring season.

Starting tomorrow: join us for one of our regular Monthly Meanders around the reserve. We meet at 9.30am by Byron’s Pool car park and set off for a stroll. Then from 2pm in the afternoon we’re making nest boxes on the kick-about area. This is a great activity for all ages, and we’ve got a bug house craft for those too young to wield a hammer. We only have a few spaces left on this event so if you want to attend please drop us an email (see poster).

All our events are £3 per person with an extra charge if you want to take your bird box away.

All the details for these events and more can be found on our poster.
