Trumpington Meadows Community is pleased to announce that the first Neighbourhood Watch residents meeting will be held on Monday 26 March at 7pm in Community Room 2 at Trumpington Meadows Primary School. All residents are warmly invited to attend.
Neighbourhood Watch is a community led scheme that aims to bring neighbours together to create a strong, friendly and active community where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen. The scheme was put forward to residents at the Trumpington Meadows AGM on 22 February and received a positive response amongst those present. Click here to register for the scheme.
This first meeting will be led by a local Neighbourhood Watch organiser and is open to all Trumpington Meadows residents who are interested in participating in the scheme or to find out more about how such a scheme works.
The vision of Neighbourhood Watch is that of a caring society that is focused on trust and respect in which people are safe from crime and enjoy a good quality of life. Neighbourhood Watch is about making sure that fewer people feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live. Please spread the word to your neighbours. Together we can make a positive difference to the wonderful community that we live in.
